If your child scored below a 70 on the Infographic for Research assignment, they have a new assignment posted called “Infographic Retest” in Google Classroom. (You can see check your child’s grade in Skyward. This is a test grade, so I strongly encourage students to take the opportunity to complete the retest assignment. All the instructions are can be found in Google Classroom, but I have also listed them here below.

Infographic Test Retake Essay Instructions

If you scored below 70 on your Infographic test grade, you can write an essay about your research as a grade replacement giving you the opportunity to score up to 70. It must be turned into the Google Classroom Assignment, “Infographic Test Retake” by Thursday, April 11.

Essay requirements:
Paragraph 1 should include a topic sentence that states your research question.
Paragraph 2 should give information that you discovered during research that helps answer your research question. You must tell me something that demonstrates you learned something new from your research.
Paragraph 3 should clearly state the answer to your research question.
Sources should be cited at the bottom of the essay. (you can do this by copying and pasting the address of the articles you read at the bottom of your essay.)

Revise and Edit:
Each paragraph should be indented using the “tab” key.
The essay should be free of spelling, grammar and capitalization errors.
