Should we colonize Mars? This is the questions students have teamed up to answer. They completed research last week and are working on creating digital visual aids to express their findings this week. Next week each group will create a 3D model to go with their presentation. The models can be absolutely anything the group comes up with that supports their presentation. (Not really anything. This is middle school, so I’m sure someone could think of something off limits.🤓) It could be a diorama, a model, artwork, experiment, sculpture, etc.

Here are a few extra guidelines for students:

1. Try to not spend any money on supplies! Recycle things like boxes, or use supplies you already have such as play-doh or legos.
2. You will have 4 class days to work on this, so be sure to have your supplies in class on Monday, April 15.
3. Do not bring dangerous tools to school such as hot glue guns or sharp objects! You will not be permitted to use them in class.
